Debbie, I fished
with the group on 2-20 thru 2-22 and had a great time. The service was
impeccable, the food was excellent, and the accommodation were perfect. I
can’t think of any other destination I have been that I got such great
personnel service and attention; I will be back with others. Thanks for the
Sol beer.

Miss Debbie: Hi there. Sorry we missed you. I thought I heard you were
going to be at the lodge this weekend. The trip was wonderful and you now
have two more converts. Mike and I brought two guys that had a blast. I bet
if you read further in your emails you will find our requested dates for
next year. I sent it yesterday. There will be 6 guys this time. I think that
will be as big as our group gets but you will have none more avid than we
are! Thanks to all the staff for another great trip!

Exceptional service
and setting always. Hunting was great but the fish had lock jaw until the
day we left. That’s fishing and yes I did lose a big one in the Arroyo.
Juan was looking at her when the line broke off, big white belly, big fish,
maybe the 10lber in search of. Thanks again for the great memories. I will
be in touch.

2/4/08
Debbie, The trip
went very well. The accommodations, food, fellowship were excellent as
always. Ed, Mike, Luis, Emilio, etc are starting to feel like family….now
that’s kind of scary. The weather was very warm the first two days. I
trust you can do something about that next year. The quail hunting was maybe
not quite as good as in some years, but Emilio assures that he has areas
left that have not been touched, so that’s good. Even so we took just as
many birds per outing as in years past, just had to work a little harder.
I keep hoping that that one trip you will be there so I can put a face with
the voice on the phone.
Thanks for everything.

Hacienda Las Palmas provides a perfect setting for
entertaining corporate clients or just relaxing with family
and friends. The facilities are top-notch, hunting and
fishing opportunities endless, and the food is outstanding.
All we did was pick the date and invite guests and the
resort handled everything else. We just returned and are
already talking about our next trip. Whether you are an
avid hunter or fishing enthusiasts or just looking for a
place to relax with a good book – you should definitely
consider Hacienda Las Palmas. Thank you,

1/18/08 Hello Debbie and Ed,
We had two wonderful trips
to HLP. The staff, food, and hunting were wonderful as usual. I
am forwarding some photos of the Polaris in action. It was
interesting to see how Emilio incorporated it into the hunting,
from the first day he had it to two weeks later. He really is a
master at how he manages the little details and strategies of
the day, and makes a huge difference. As you know there is a lot
more to a great day's hunt than just the birds. He is very
cognizant of our comfort and fatigue level during the day. There
were a lot of places we rode, where in years past we would have
walked. Places he did not feel comfortable, or the farmers,
would not have ?wanted him to go with the big truck. Thanks
again for two wonderful trips.
Best regards,
Chapman

trip well exceeded our expectations. There are not many places that
can truly fulfill the sportsman's dream like yours.

I just wanted to say that we had a wonderful trip.
Everything was well above expectations!! Mike
is a wonderful host and his can do attitude was
great. This has to be the greatest place left
for hunting wild quail as we routinely saw 20 to 30
coveys a day. The hunting guides and bird boys
did an excellent job putting us on birds and we
all had a good time. Everyone thought that the web
site did not do justice to your place. One
outing, one of our group caught at least 55 bass and
several 5s, 6s, two 7s, and an 8 and even a 3 and 4
on the same lure at the same time.
Thanks, Chad Carney

10/26/07 I wanted you to
know the Hacienda Las Palmas was just great. The staff and
guides left nothing to be desired and we all enjoyed our stay
there and look forward to returning next year. Mike did an
outstanding job for us.
Thanks much. Bob

We had a great time as usual. Mike did a great job. It was soggy
and we weren't able to get to some of the fields but the fields down
the hill had plenty of birds. We will be back next year so save the
spot!

We have had some tropical weather that resulted in 7 inches of rain
over a two week period. All of the rivers are flowing, but have
subsided for the most part. The lake is up a few feet and is in
great shape. So far, we are still launching in the river. The
rains have not affected the Dove Shooting. It is a lot better than
last year. Lots of happy customers! We were concerned about the
weather, but we did not have any associated wind with the rains, so
all is well.

May, 2007
I just
wanted to say thank you for the fantastic
fishing trip that we had in early May. The
accommodations were fantastic and the
service and meals were second to none. I
really enjoyed fishing Guerrero - it was a
unique experience. I can't wait to come
back with my son.
I have
attached two notable photos from our trip.
The picture of me with our guide is my 11
lb. bass that I caught on the first day!
This is my biggest fish ever and my first to
go over 10 lbs. The photo of our guide Pepe
is a fish that he caught on our last day
that weighed 10 lb. 2 oz. Pepe is a
wonderful guide. He worked so hard every
day for us to catch big fish and to have a
great time. You are fortunate to have such
a qualified guide on your staff.
Thank
you again for a wonderful trip.

January 30, 2007 Just
a quick note to let you all know that our family’s stay with you
was absolutely 1st class. My parents brought me and
my wife to Hacienda Las Palmas and we had a wonderful time. From
the moment Luis greeted us with the drinks to the moment we left
with a sunrise that was just beautiful, we enjoyed every minute.
The great food, the tremendous fishing (yes – I caught a 10
pounder!!), and the relaxed settings made for a wonderful
getaway vacation. We even got in a few poker games in the
evening. Family moments on the water with dreams of big fish
and wonderful food awaiting us are irreplaceable. Thanks for the
memories.

1/26/07 Hi Debbie; The cold weather really helped the duck hunting and these were experiences I
won't soon forget. Mike spoiled us with these hunts for sure. The bird hunting
with Emilio was about as good as it could be considering the cold and high
winds. The bird boys were outstanding as well. They work so hard and I'm still
marveling about how they always find the downed birds when the dogs can't. I had
the pleasure of meeting Ed on the last night and his reassurances about bringing
out the duck were correct and there were no problems. |
 |
|
I've got to say, you have
done a marvelous job employing and training a great staff. Louis is such a fine
man, so nice, attentive and willing to do anything to make the stay is
pleasurable for all of the guests. The cooks were exceptional as well.
All in all, a first class experience with first class hosts!
Thanks for a great time.
